My name is Jennifer Hopewell and I’m 23 years old. About four months, on my birthday, I picked up my first deck of Tarot cards. I remember standing in the back corner of Barnes and Noble terrified of buying these cards. I grew up in a family that was strongly based in both the Christian and Catholic religions. These cards were always told to me to be satanic, but on a trip to just pick up a book about astrology (another newer interest of mine at the time), I found myself not able to leave the store without these cards. I knew I’d hear my mom’s mouth when I went home, but standing there holding what would be my very first deck of tarot cards, I didn’t feel anything minutely evil. If anything, there was this inner urge to learn more and this would be the next step that led me to find out what I consider to be my current truth.
My mom didn’t kick me out the house, and I got to use my cards, and to my surprise they were extremely accurate from the very first time I used them. They helped me dig into deep issues I had within myself and helped me answer some of the question that were important to me at the moment. This insight led me to want to know why these cards could work for a newbie on the very first try. And if they could work for me, how about other people? Did I even need the cards to get these answers? So like any other inquisitive person, I went to Google..and to YouTube…and what I found out is what drives me today to share what I KNOW to be true.
You may ask yourself, “How can you be sure of anything?” And that’s a great question! You should always ask those questions and never take what someone says at face value. Research it for yourself. See if it sits right with you. Does it resonate for you? Does it feel right? Only then will you know if it is your truth too.
All this to say that four moths ago, roughly, I was not psychic at all (or so I believed) and now writing this About Me section, I can and have used all of my psychic senses (seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting, smelling) and have experienced these changes with another person who like me, was not psychic at all (ill explain why this belief wasn’t true later). So what I see, this person has seen too. It’s easy to dismiss one person claiming to have changes or to see or hear or feel things that cannot be explained by logical reasoning, but when two or more people experience the same things, you have to stop and really ask yourself, “What if?” That’s part of what I want to do. I want to help people understand that its okay to ask the question, “What if?”
I have lived for these past few months learning through awareness and practice how to incorporate my natural psychic senses into my everyday life. I call them natural psychic senses because it is my belief that WE ARE ALL PSYCHIC. I do not believe that there is one person out there who does not have these senses. My truth is this…we are spirits in human bodies having an experience that is allowing us to grow as souls. This experience, while it can be extremely hard is extremely rewarding in the end. One of my goals is to share my tangible experiences of myself and others who have started from the ground up, like you yourself may be doing, and help provide support, advice, and small tips and tricks to get you to a point where you can say the same things I am saying. You don’t have to be one of the people who saw spirits as a young child. You don’t have to be someone who heard voices before going to bed. WE ARE ALL PSYCHIC and I promise this includes you 🙂 Just open your mind to the possibilities, do some research on whats possible, and know and believe that it is available and possible for you too!
